The Problems We Saw

After years of working with educators, we identified the real pain points that were holding them back.

Platforms Were Overcharging

SaaS platforms were charging 10-20% revenue share, eating into educators' hard-earned money. Some charged ₹50,000+ just to get started.

Videos Were Getting Leaked

Content piracy was rampant, but platforms didn't care. Basic DRM wasn't enough - educators needed real protection, not just checkboxes.

Hefty Upfront Payments

Educators had to pay lakhs before they could even start. This blocked new teachers and small coaching centers from going online.

Apps Were Expensive

Anoop and Prajjwal have been college roommates since 2006, sharing their journey of studying, living, and working together until 2014. Both pursued their bachelor's degree in Computer Science engineering at the same institution in Bangalore and achieved top honors, securing All India Rank 1 in several national web design and development competitions across India.

While Anoop pursued his corporate career, Prajjwal left his job in 2014 to start his own company. In 2024, Anoop left his corporate job after gaining core cybersecurity expertise to work on VidSafe Full Time. Together, they bring decades of combined experience in security, development, and entrepreneurship to Upclass.
